Although this is a blog for movie reviews, Harper’s Island is actually a TV series consisting of 13 episodes and I am so gobsmacked by it that I need to leave it a review.

According to IMDb ‘Harper’s Island was once the scene of a gruesome series of murders. Now, seven years later, family and friends gather on the island for a wedding, but one by one they begin to die.’ And when they say people die one by one, they literally mean it -first episode – someone dies. At least one person dies in every single episode! Now that is my type of TV show.

Every single thing about this TV show is perfect. The cast were perfect for their roles and the storyline is perfect too and definitely mind blowing. I have never seen a TV show like this before and if anyone has any recommendations they would be greatly appreciated! The very clever thing about this TV show is that if you piece it together and think obviously you are only half right and if you do the opposite you are still only half right. You cannot win – watch it and you will see what I mean! MASSIVE PLOT TWIST ALERT! When I finished this I actually sit in silence for half an hour completely speechless. It blew my mind.
